Down Home Goodness

Along with moving to Tennessee comes an enormous amount to genuine hospitality.

We experienced it during our first visit to interview when we stayed with our Pastor, his wife and cutie kids.

Again, on our second visit to go house hunting when a the Wards whom we had never met before opened their beautiful home to us and they were not even in town!

Almost a year later we continue to be amazed at how loving and gracious these TN folk are.

We have crafty women bringing us homeade jam, homegrown pears picked and delivered, farm fresh tomatoes picked and delivered, homegrown apple pie baked and delivered and my friend Jenn brought us this sweet basket shaped like Tennessee….how cool is that!

Yes we miss Alaska but in so many ways Tennessee has schooled us in the gift of hospitality and generousity. Life is just sweeter when you share it.

Deliver homemade goodness to a friend and warm her heart and her home! Thanks gals 🙂
