I was just turning on the sprinkler this morning when I saw my friend the mailman. For the first time in forever, my heart didnt jump at the site of that cool little carrier truck! I had all the documents I needed.
I came back out to check the mail (cause I was still sporting my P.J’s which happen to be our school uniform every now and then) and pulled out a letter from the NATIONAL VISA CENTER in New Hampshire! My first thought was not to get too jumpy because it probably was just a preliminary letter saying they had our paperwork and due to the heavy amount of doughnut consumption, it would take a few weeks to process, blah blah blah.
NOT AT ALL! I am holding the letter that informs us that our petition has been forwarded to the appropriate visa-issuing post where the adoption interview will take place!!!!!!!!!!!! It has made it to Seoul my friends. Way to go NVC…that was one impressive two day turn around.
So – hang on from here on out. This is going to be one crazy adventure! We could get the travel call this week and be to Seoul next weekend 🙂 🙂 :). M—o–l—l—y R–a—e !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. This post is totally bringing tears to my eyes! Yay!!!!!!!! I can relate to the car seat search. Our little guy has totally outgrown his carrier seat in length, but we’re still cramming him in there (for convenience) for a little while longer, until he gets too squishy in the car. If you need a good car-seat research source, check out 🙂
