Its a no brainer that teaching your children at home requires heaping doses of patience, organization and determination. We’ve been at this for 5 years now and each time a baby joined the family…our cute little schedule gets thrown out the window and we allow wiggle room to figure out how to make it all work. Bringing home Molly, the 4th little Howell has rocked our HS plan. We have a cozy little area in the back room called “school”. Its decorated, full of resources, books, massive amounts of art supplies and games. Some days we have school in there because it is the choice place for school time… but only when Molly is sleeping. The other days…we jump on plan B and its highchair school for her and table disaster for my three students. A messy, yet delightful sight.
